Submitted my first 10 icons for the Allergen Aware set on Noun Project! Only 10 at a time, so more to come. 🥗✨

Icon design means engineering assets that actually hold up at 16px–32px. Here’s a quick look at the cleanup process for the cornstarch icon:

Just the Lines: After the sketch is kinda where I want it, I make the initial skeletal structure

Outlined: The mess after expanding strokes. Way too many anchor points. This bloats files and makes icons look blurry or distorted at small sizes.

Cleaned Up: The final, optimized path. Fewer nodes mean a crisper, more efficient render.

Not the most exciting post visually, but I find it interesting that even for a simple illustration, there are so many steps of "under the hood" work to get it right. Excited to see these go live! 🚀

FAFO (inspirational) First pop-up market booth is officially in the books! 🎉
Going from just shipping prints for online customers to a physical table setup was intimidating, but seeing people connect with the designs in person made all the prep and stress worth it. I definitely f'd around n found out... something positive! Huge thank you to everyone who stopped by @hkbrewingco to support during the @yelputah event. Whether you bought a poster, picked up some stickers, or just came by to say hi. I'll see you at the next one! 🚀

Flipping back to the notebook to finish up the last few.

The main challenge with this set was definitely iterating through so many different versions of everything from petal patterns to detail scaling. Figuring out the exact rotation math and line weight finally got them all to sit exactly where they belong. 4 more to go.

Grabbed my sharpie and layered this new sketch over the ol' Cheeto-dust fire from a Cheat Sheetzzz page.

"May the bridges I burn light my way." Using a little bit of the past to illuminate exactly where I’m headed next. 🔥🚶‍♀️
